    What time does Sabbath school start?

    Our first service, the Sabbath school, normally starts at 9:30am and end at 10:15, the latest, we start at that time to accommodate people from different parts of the township.

    Do you have afternoon programmes?

    Yes we do, and they normally commence between 2:30pm and 3pm, and depending on seasons, ending times may vary.

    What is the language of communication?

    Our programmes are predominantly done in the Xhosa language, We are are  a very accommodative  church though, we always strive to mix with a touch of English to accommodate people from every tongue, tribe and nation.

    How difficult is it to get public transport?

    There is plenty of public transport options, including Bolt, buses and taxis, but feel free to contact us first so that we can show you around, there might even be one of our friendly members living next to you.

    How safe is Thembalethu?

    It’s always good to have situational awareness and presence of mind at all times, but truthfully speaking, at this point Thembalethu is one of the safest townships in South Africa, more especially during daylight hours and there is moderate police presence.
